Written and directed by Neil Marshall (The Descent, Doomsday, Centurion), Dog Soldiers has everything a true horror fan could wish for. A great story, good acting, lots of blood, tons of action and, most importantly, it’s bloody scary. A group of soldiers is on routine patrol in Scotland when they are attacked by a pack of giant, man-eating werewolves. The soldiers flee to the only house in the woods for miles around and attempt to fight off the powerful, flesh-eating beasts. What they don’t realize is that the house they have taken refuge in is in fact the werewolves’ den. Not a great scenario for the survival of these particular humans.
